What exactly is Chromotherapy?
Chromotherapy, sometimes called colour therapy, is an alternative form of medicine that uses light in different colours to balance the energy in a person’s body.  This can be beneficial to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual stresses and concerns.

What can Chromotherapy Help with?
This form of colour therapy can help anyone affected by SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), which usually occurs in the darker, colder months when our bodies are not exposed to enough bright light or natural light.  Adding chromotherapy equipment to your bath can do wonders for improving your mental health, stress levels, and anxiety levels.

In addition to SAD, here are some other areas of the body the colour therapy can assist with, listed by colour:

Red
Red is believed to improve blood circulation and breathing rates.  It would be used to help with nervous system and circulatory system issues.

Orange
Orange it thought to be able to help with eliminating localized fat, as well as improving breathing issues like asthma or bronchitis.

Yellow
Yellow can be used to purify skin, help with indigestion, and lymphatic issues, in addition to increasing the metabolism.

Green
Green simply makes a natural, positive calming effect.

Blue
Blue also promotes calmness and relaxation, but is also thought to be able to relieve colds, headaches and nervous tension, stress, and muscle cramps.  Blue can have a positive effect on a wide range of health issues.

Indigo
Indigo can be good for the eyes, ears, and throat, with a calming and sedative effect.
